Fortis Healthcare finalizes the issue price for IPP at Rs 92 per equity share

Hospital chain Fortis Healthcare has finalized the issue price at the upper end of its price band, i.e, at Rs 92 per equity share, for 3, 49, 93,030 equity shares to be issued pursuant to the institutional placement programme. The company’s Issue Committee of the Board of Directors, by a resolution dated May 14, 2013, finalized the issue price.

The company’s Institutional Placement Programme (IPP) opened and closed for subscription on May 13, 2013. The company’s board of directors, at their meeting held on May 13, approved the issue of 3, 49, 93,030 equity shares at a price band of Rs 87-92 per equity share.

The company’s hospital business is spread over, with 62 healthcare facilities with presence across 17 states and over 35 cities, while the diagnostics business is present in 450 cities across the country. Some of the projects are in various stages of development and implementation.
