Dhanlaxmi Bank shines on reporting net profit of Rs 28.66 crore in Q4

Dhanlaxmi Bank is currently trading at Rs. 47.60, up by 1.15 points or 2.48% from its previous closing of Rs. 46.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 48.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 48.65 and Rs. 47.40 respectively. So far 3, 27,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 73.30 on 11-Dec-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 42.55 on 30-Aug-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 47.80 and Rs. 45.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 476 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 32.70% and 67.30% respectively.

Dhanlaxmi Bank has reported results for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2013.

The bank has reported a net profit of Rs 28.66 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2013 as compared to a net loss of Rs 86.51 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operations has increased by 1.05% at Rs 369.25 crore for quarter under review as compared Rs 365.42 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012.

For the full year ended March 31, 2013, the bank has posted net profit of Rs 2.62 crore as compared to the net loss of Rs 115.63 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income from operations has decreased by 7.48% at Rs 1422.30 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1537.30 crore for the period ended March 31, 2012.
