Ashok Leyland reports 4% fall in March sales

Ashok Leyland has reported 4% fall in its total sales, including exports, at 22866 units in March 2024 as compared to 23926 units in March 2023. Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales stood at 7304 units in March 2024. Medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCV) Trucks and bus sales stood at 12214 units and 3348 units, respectively.      

Domestic sales in March 2024 stood at 21317 units. Domestic LCV sales stood at 6800 units in March 2024. Domestic M&HCV Trucks and M&HCV bus sales stood at 11773 units and 2744 units, respectively. 

Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group flagship company in India, is engaged in the manufacturing of commercial vehicles and related components. The company’s products include buses, trucks, engines, defense and special vehicles.
