Force Motors soars on reporting LCV production of 1023 units in May 2013

Force Motors is currently trading at Rs. 348.95, up by 4.55 points or 1.32% from its previous closing of Rs. 344.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 336.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 348.95 and Rs. 336.95 respectively.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 525.00 on 11-Dec-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 329.00 on 28-Mar-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 359.10 and Rs. 330.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 459.79 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.75% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.00% and 42.26% respectively.

Force Motors, Pune-based commercial vehicle maker, has reported the production, sales and export of the products manufactured by the company during the month of May 2013. The company’s production of Small Commercial Vehicles (SCV), Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV), Utility Vehicles & Sports Utility Vehicles (UV & SUV) and Tractors stood at 188 units, 1023 units, 819 units and 255 units respectively.

The company’s domestic sales for SCV, LCV, UV & SUV and Tractor stood at 81 units, 1009 units, 924 units and 210 units respectively while the company has exported 126 units of SCV and 14 units of UV & SUV in the month of May 2013.
