In furtherance to various disclosures made by the Company in relation to the Scheme of Arrangement between Oriental Carbon & Chemicals (‘Demerged Company’ or ‘Company’) and OCCL (‘Resulting Company’) and its shareholders and creditors under Section 230 to 232 and other applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 (‘Act’) (‘Scheme’), Oriental Carbon & Chemicals has informed that the Scheme has been effective from today 1 July 2024. It has informed that in terms of the Scheme the Appointed Date of the Scheme is 1 July 2024.
