Bharat Heavy Electricals declines after its consolidated net loss widens to Rs 211 crore in June quarter

Bharat Heavy Electricals is currently trading at Rs. 307.05, down by 8.45 points or 2.68% from its previous closing of Rs. 315.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 314.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 319.90 and Rs. 305.70 respectively. So far 1696542 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 335.40 on 09-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 94.80 on 07-Aug-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 327.70 and Rs. 305.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 107247.55 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.12% and 12.70% respectively.

Bharat Heavy Electricals has reported net loss of Rs 212.52 crore for first quarter ended June 30, 2024 (Q1FY25) as compared to net loss of Rs 212.48 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 9.27% at Rs 5,594.87 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 5,125.53 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss of Rs 211.40 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 as compared to net loss of Rs 204.70 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 9.08% at Rs 5581.78 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 5117.20 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
