ITD Cementation India has informed that the Company has received a judgment dated September 20, 2024 (‘Judgment’) from the Special Judge for Trial and Disposal of Commercial Disputes, Visakhapatnam, partially awarding the Company its various claims in respect of contractual disputes totaling to Rs. 36,13,36,000.00, along with interest at 9 percent per annum from the date of the suit on the sum of Rs. 34,51,47,000.00 till 20.09.2024, and further interest at 6 percent from annum thereafter till realization. The Company has also been granted costs (which shall be granted as per the Court rules and regulations). The Opposite Parties in the suit were: (1) The State of Andhra Pradesh, Rep by its Principal Secretary, the Govt of A.P., Irrigation and C.A.D Department; (2) The Chief Engineer, North Coast, Visakhapatnam, A. P.; (3) The Project Administrator, and Superintending Engineer, Irrigation and C.A.D Department, T.T.P.R. Circle, Vizianagaram, A.P.; and (4) The Executive Engineer., T.B.P. Division No. 1, Parvatipuram, Vizianagaram District, A. P. The financial impact can be determined only upon actual realisation of the Judgment.
