DLF has reported results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2011.

The company’s net profit for the quarter has zoomed146.61% at Rs 302.57 crore as compared to Rs 122.69 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company’s total income has increased by 59.90% at Rs 1241.69 crore for the second quarter of the current fiscal from Rs 776.56 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

On Consolidated basis, the Group’s net profit has slipped by 10.99% at Rs 372.41 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 418.38 crore for the September quarter of the previous year, as it continues to be hit by rising interest rates, muted home sales, growing raw material costs and mounting debt. The company’s total income has increased marginally by 2.27% at Rs 2577.16 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 2519.87 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2010.
