Walchandnagar Industries has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Ropar on November 04, 2024 for fostering focused R&D and encouraging innovations and indigenization efforts towards finding solutions to address challenges in defence and aerospace. Both the parties shall jointly work to promote culture of innovation and research in futuristic military technologies. The MoU aims to encourage research, development and indigenization of Armament Technology, aligning with the government’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) and Make in India.
