Asian Tea Company ceases to be subsidiary company of Asian Tea & Exports

Asian Tea Company will not be treated as subsidiary company of Asian Tea & Exports with effect from July 18, 2013. This is pursuant to the company’s shareholding in Asian Tea Company being reduced from 50.16% to 50% due to further allotment of shares to other shareholder.

Asian Tea & Exports is engaged in producing and exporting tea. The company manufactures three types of teas such as Black Tea, Green Tea and Oolong Tea. Company offers teas from different tea growing regions of India such as Assam, Darjeeling and Nilgiris and other countries namely Sri Lanka, Kenya, Indonesia and Vietnam. The company markets its products under the brand name “FOUR SEASONS”.
