Atul Auto Ltd, a leading three-wheeler manufacturer, has entered Bangladesh with the launch of its product Atul Gem, a rear-engine model with a six-seater capacity. Atul Gem is the first six-seater passenger vehicle in Bangladesh. For this, the Rajkot-based Atul Auto has tied up with the Bangladesh-based Atul Autos Bangladesh Ltd (AABL), which, in turn, has roped in Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory Ltd (BMTFL) for assembling the vehicle.
The company will provide technical assistance to AABL for assembling the vehicles. Experts from technical team of the Company will supervise the assembling work of the vehicles at AABL. At present, the company does not propose to provide any financial assistance to AABL.
Atul Auto’s manufacturing facility at Rajkot, Gujarat, produces diesel as well as GNG/LPG operated three-wheeler commercial vehicles.
