Jay Shree Tea & Industries, BK Birla group outfit is planning to foray into real estate, by leveraging its land bank. It is likely to spend Rs 30-40 crore for its real estate venture. The company has around 9,000 sq.m. (around 3 acres) that it will be utilizing for real estate venture. Prior to this, the company had done two residential projects in the upscale localities of Sarat Bose Road and Alipore of Kolkata.

Jay Shree Tea & Industries, a well diversified conglomerate of B.K. Birla Group of Companies. Besides tea, the Company is also actively involved in chemicals & fertilizers, sugar and education.
