ING Vysya Bank, a private sector lender, has unveiled a premium debit card offering with a spend-based rewards programme. ING MasterCard premium debit cards will offer customers the choice to select their own card background and will be available in three variants -- Titanium, My World and World Exclusive -- and customers can choose the look and feel of the card from a selection of 50 images covering segments like sports, entertainment, lifestyle etc.
On standalone basis, the bank has posted a rise of 34.58% in its net profit at Rs 175.12 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013 as compared to Rs 130.12 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 15.70% at Rs 1553.08 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1342.36 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2012.
Gross non-performing assets (NPAs) declined to 1.75% in the April-June quarter as against 1.97% in the same quarter previous year while net NPAs decreased to 0.19%.
