Juniper Hotels has received approval for the acquisition of 100% of the equity share capital of Jenipro Hotels from its existing shareholders. The company will enter into a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) with Jenipro and its existing shareholders to give effect to the acquisition. Upon completion of the acquisition of the Sale Shares, Jenipro will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.
Objects of acquisition is to develop a 5 Star Hotel/Resort of International Standard on Kaziranga Land which has been leased out by Jenipro from Assam Tourism Development Corporation to develop a tourism infrastructure under a Public-Private Partnership (PP) model. Cost of acquisition is Rs 2.74 crore. The Board of Directors of Juniper Hotels at its meeting held on February 11, 2025, has approved the same.
Juniper Hotels is co-owned by Saraf Hotels and Two Seas Holdings, an affiliate of global hospitality entity Hyatt Hotels Corporation. The hospitality firm has a portfolio of seven hotels and serviced apartments and operates 1,836 keys across the luxury, upper upscale and upscale category of hotels across India.
