Arvind, leading denim maker is planning to introduce 'Arvind' brand apparels next year in order to enter the Rs 2,000-crore organized branded apparel market in the country. With this initiative, it wants to create a whole new apparel experience under the Arvind brand. The company has opened company’s first flagship 'Arvind Store' in Ahmedabad, its home ground.
This new format store expected to re-establish the Arvind brand into a whole new avatar and will not remain a denim or cotton shirting brand. The Arvind Store is likely to provide premium suiting and shirting fabrics and display brands like Arrow, US POLO Association, Flying Machines, Custom Tailoring and Tresca, besides products from American lifestyle brand Nautica.
