Ashok Leyland reports 6% fall in April sales

Ashok Leyland has reported 6% fall in its total sales, including exports, at 13,421 units in April 2025 as compared to 14,271 units in April 2024. Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales stood at 5,461 units in April 2025. Medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCV) Trucks and Bus sales stood at 6,119 units and 1,841 units, respectively.

Total domestic sales in April 2025 stood at 12,509 units. Domestic LCV sales stood at 5,103 units in April 2025. Domestic M&HCV Trucks and M&HCV bus sales stood at 5,915 units and 1,491 units, respectively.

Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group flagship company in India, is engaged in the manufacturing of commercial vehicles and related components. The company’s products include buses, trucks, engines, defense and special vehicles.
