Murae Organisor’s board, in its meeting held on May 12, has approved the proposal to explore the acquisition of agricultural land located in Kutch, Gujarat. The acquired land, upon successful completion of due diligence and all requisite approvals, is proposed to be utilized primarily for cultivating high-quality pomegranates, taking advantage of the region's favourable agro-climatic conditions. Additionally, the company plans to establish a distillery facility on this site, enhancing operational efficiency and enabling entry into value-added segments, thus potentially diversifying and strengthening the company's revenue streams.
The estimated investment for this proposed initiative is in the range of Rs 20 crore to Rs 25 crore. The proposal aligns strategically with several favourable government initiatives such as the ‘National Horticulture Mission’, ‘Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY)’, and ‘Gujarat Industrial Policy 2020,’ which collectively aim to encourage agricultural, horticultural, and industrial growth through various subsidies, tax incentives, and infrastructural support mechanisms.
Murae Organisor is engaged in the pharmaceutical business involving marketing, trading and distribution of wide range of pharmaceutical formulation products.
