Kaveri Seed Company’s board has approved the acquisition of the remaining 30% equity shares of Aditya Agritech, a company in which Kaveri Seed currently holds a 70% stake. Upon completion of this transaction, the company will hold 100% ownership, thereby making Aditya Agritech its 100% wholly owned subsidiary. The total consideration to be paid by the company for acquisition of shares is Rs 23.59 crore.
This strategic acquisition is aimed at enhancing operational synergies and expanding market reach. Full ownership will enable the company to streamline decision-making, improve efficiency, and accelerate innovation in its product development and offerings.
