Symphony strengthens on hiking product prices by 5-15 percent over present MRP

Symphony is currently trading at Rs. 313.00, up by 2.40 points or 0.77% from its previous closing of Rs. 310.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 319.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 321.90 and Rs. 305.50 respectively. So far 557 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 473.45 on 08-Oct-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 270.00 on 30-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 321.90 and Rs. 285.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1089.58 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.56% and 19.44% respectively.

Symphony, the air cooler manufacturing company, has resorted to upward revision of 5% to 15% over the present Maximum Retail Price (MRP) depending upon the model of air cooler. The company has taken this step to cope up with the inflationary effect on cost of materials and various overheads.

With this revision in pricing, the company is confident to sustain its profitability during the year 2013-14.
