Lloyds Enterprises inks pact to acquire 31.58% stake in Geomysore Services India

Lloyds Enterprises (LEL) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a 31.58% stake in Geomysore Services India (GMSI), a Company developing the first Gold Mine started in Independent India--the Jonnagiri Gold Mine Project, owned & operated by GMSI.

This acquisition will be completed through an investment of Rs 140 crore for a 50% partnership interest in Prakar Estate and Promoter LLP, which holds a majority stake of 63.17% in GMSI. As a result, LEL will secure a 31.58% indirect ownership in the gold mining company. Deccan Gold Mines, a listed entity in India, holds a 27.27% direct stake in GMSI alongside Prakar Estates and Promoter LLP. 

Lloyds Enterprises is engaged into the trading of iron and steel.
