HCL Technologies strengthens on getting nod from FIPB to raise FDI limit

HCL Technologies is currently trading at Rs. 1052.00, up by 28.85 points or 2.82% from its previous closing of Rs. 1023.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1039.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1053.45 and Rs. 1029.70 respectively. So far 28619 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1081.20 on 11-Sep-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 548.40 on 24-Sep-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1080.90 and Rs. 985.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 72919.63 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.92%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 30.94% and 7.14% respectively.

HCL Technologies has received approval from the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) to raise the limit on overseas holdings in the lender to 74% from 49%. Currently, the FII holding in the company is 24.45%, while domestic institutional investors have 6.49%.
