Shriram EPC Ltd has taken up three projects in the expansion of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (the Vizag Steel plant). Shriram EPC had undertaken the execution of special bar mill, wire rod mill and cooling towers in the expansion project of RINL, intended to hike the capacity of the plant from 3 million tonnes to 6.3 mt.
The special bar mill was half way through and the wire rod mill was in the final stages. The cooling tower of the power project was still in the initial stage. The three projects were worth roughly Rs 150 crore.
