IVRCL to sell stake in Amritsar- Jalandhar BOT road project: Report

IVRCL is reportedly planning to sell stake in Amritsar- Jalandhar build - operate - transfer (BOT) road project. The move is aimed at retiring a significant portion of debt burden off the special purpose vehicles (SPVs) engaged in BOT projects and at obtaining back the equity investments which the company plans to deploy in other projects.

In a separate development, three companies keen to buy stake in Chennai Desalination Arm. The company holds 90% stake in the Chennai Water Desalination.

IVRCL is engaged into engineering procurement and construction (EPC) activities in India. It conducts operations in 5 sectors namely Water and Environment, Transportation, Buildings, Power and Industrial Structures.
