Energy Development Company’s wholly owned subsidiary Ayyappa Hydro Power (AHPL) has successfully synchronized its Unit I of 3 x 5 MW Karikkayam Hydro Electric Project is situated in the state of Kerala with the state electricity grid on September 28, 2013.
Earlier, AHPL’s Unit 2 & Unit 3 (both 3 x 5 MW) were successfully synchronized with the grid between August and September, 2013. Thus all the 3 units of Karikkayam Hydro Electric Project have been synchronized with the grid.
Energy Development Company principal activity is to generate hydroelectricity in India. It operates through two segments i.e., contract division and sale of electricity.
