State Bank of Mysore will be opening 101 branches throughout the country on October 5 as part of its ‘Centenary Year Day’ celebration. The bank will open seven new branches in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts. The bank will also be opening a specialized NRI branch at Chilimbi in Mangalore on that day in order to give focused attention to NRIs.
Besides, 6 more new branches of the bank will be opened in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts on that day. The new branches will be located at Subrahmanya, Melkar, Vittla and Kadaba in Dakshina Kananda district; and in Byloor and Tekkate in Udupi district.
State Bank of Mysore is the first Karnataka-based bank with fully networked branches. The bank embarked upon the latest Banking Technology platform by implementing the Core Banking Solutions (CBS) across all its branches, with an objective of providing banking convenience to the customers.
