Ashok Leyland has launched a multi purpose vehicle ‘Stile’, with price starting from Rs 7.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This vehicle comes with a diesel engine and will cater to a wider customer base and range of transportation needs. The Stile will address various applications like seven to eight seater people transport in the urban and rural areas, hotel shuttles, taxi services and ambulances.
The vehicle has been developed by Ashok Leyland-Nissan Motor Company joint venture and follows the light commercial vehicle Dost as the JV’s second offering in the segment. It will be produced at Nissan’s manufacturing plant at Oragadam in Tamil Nadu and will be sold through the 130 outlets across the country.
