IVRCL has denied reports published by newspapers titled -- IVRCL to go for mining in Africa. The company denies the giving out of any press note/ press release to any publication. In fact, the company has not even discussed anything on these lines in any of its board meetings.
However, the company will continue to bid for projects abroad, including in Africa, under its Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) segment.
IVRCL is engaged primarily in providing engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning services in major infrastructure segments including urban/rural water supply, irrigation and environment related projects, pipelines, power projects (substations and transmission and distribution lines), buildings and industrial structures, roads and bridges.
