Suraj Industries has completed the acquisition of 22,73,234 equity shares of M/s Carya Chemicals & Fertilizers (CARYA) from Mr. Suraj Prakash Gupta for a total consideration of Rs 2.86 crore, at a price of Rs 12.60 per share.
Consequent to the above acquisition, the Company’s shareholding in CARYA stands revised to 89.20% of its paid-up equity share capital.
Suraj Industries is an edible oil manufacturing company. It also provides liquor products under the brand name Old Monk Rum.
