Atul Auto, a dominant player in the three-wheeler market is planning to foray into the four-wheeler commercial vehicle segment in the future. In this regard, the company has already started scouting for land near Ahmedabad to set up a dedicated facility for it.
Currently, the technical team of the company is evaluating the product configuration and the commercial aspects of the proposal. However, the company does not reveal other details such as when the product is likely to hit the roads and how much investment it is putting in to develop the four-wheeler.
Recently, the company had announced that it is planning to foray into the agriculture machines business. In this regard, the company is in talk with Gujarat-based company for the acquisition and it is expected to be completed by end-June this year.
