Himalya International reports 17% drop in Q2 net profit

Himalya International has reported results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2013.

The company has reported 17.09% fall in its net profit at Rs 5.82 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 7.02 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income from operation of the company has increased by 18.28% at Rs 52.27 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 44.19 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.

Himalaya International operates as a frozen food company in India. The company manufactures and sells mushrooms, vegetables, cheese, yogurts, appetizers, snacks, and sweets, as well as baby potatoes and buffalo cheese.
