Brigade Hotel Ventures has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Tamil Nadu at the ongoing Tamil Nadu Global Tourism Summit 2026. The MoU commits an investment of Rs 1,100 crore by the company, aimed at significantly strengthening the state’s tourism infrastructure and creating high-value employment opportunities for over 1,000 people. The initiative aligns with the summit’s core objective of bringing together senior policymakers, global investors, and industry leaders to explore and develop new opportunities in the hospitality and leisure sectors.
The company will now add over 500 new keys across three properties in Chennai including Courtyard by Marriott at Chennai World Trade Center, Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR and JW Marriott Chennai OMR. Brigade Group had already acquired lands for these projects to create hospitality destinations in Chennai.
Brigade Hotel Ventures and its subsidiary are carrying on the hospitality business including running and managing hotels.
