ING Vysya Bank gains on reporting 17% rise in Q2 net profit

ING Vysya Bank is currently trading at Rs. 586.00, up by 0.40 points or 0.07% from its previous closing of Rs. 585.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 587.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 595.00 and Rs. 584.00 respectively. So far 6,269 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 667.00 on 05-Jun-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 405.50 on 28-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 590.65 and Rs. 560.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10,977.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.37% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 42.57% and 14.05% respectively.

The bank has reported a rise of 17.35% in its net profit at Rs 176.28 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 as compared to Rs 150.21 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 9.91% at Rs 1501.96 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1366.49 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.

Gross non-performing assets (NPAs) have decreased to 1.72% in the July-September quarter as against 1.90% in the same quarter previous year, while net NPAs too increased to 0.19%.
