Bharat Gears trades jubilantly on reporting stellar Q2 numbers

Bharat Gears is currently trading at Rs. 39.10, up by 4.10 points or 11.71% from its previous closing of Rs. 35.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 41.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 41.40 and Rs. 39.10 respectively. So far 2221 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 67.25 on 29-Oct-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 23.25 on 28-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 41.40 and Rs. 32.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 31.27 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.98% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.07% and 46.95% respectively.

Bharat Gears has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2013.

The company has reported over seven and a half fold jump in its net profit at Rs 3.71 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 0.48 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operation of the company has increased by 8.81% at Rs 110.64 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 101.68 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.

Bharat Gears manufactures a wide range of gears for HCV, MCV, LCV, utility and off-highway vehicles. The products includes bevel, straight bevel and transmission gears.
