HDFC Bank’s consolidated net profit rises 8% in Q4FY26

HDFC Bank has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2026.

The bank has reported 9.11% rise in its net profit at Rs 19,221.05 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026 (Q4FY26) as compared to Rs 17,616.14 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased marginally at Rs 89,808.90 crore for Q4FY26 as compared to Rs 89,487.99 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the bank has reported 8.05% rise in its net profit at Rs 20,350.76 crore for Q4FY26 as compared to Rs 18,834.88 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank decreased by 2.78% at Rs 1,16,919.94 crore for Q4FY26 as compared to Rs 1,20,268.76 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2026, the bank has reported 10.87% rise in its net profit at Rs 74,671.29 crore as compared to Rs 67,347.36 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 6.91% at Rs 3,70,054.65 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3,46,149.32 crore for year ended March 31, 2025.

For the year ended March 31, 2026, on the consolidated basis, the bank has reported 7.39% rise in its net profit at Rs 76,025.97 crore as compared to Rs 70,792.25 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 5.21% at Rs 4,95,462.81 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 4,70,915.93 crore for year ended March 31, 2025.
