State Bank of Mysore reports 79% fall in Q2 net profit

State Bank of Mysore has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2013.

The bank has reported a fall of 79.30% in its net profit at Rs 30.08 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 as compared to Rs 145.35 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank increased by 4.85% at Rs 1687.70 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1609.55 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.

Gross non-performing assets (NPAs) increased to 5.96% in the July-September quarter as against 4.33% in the same quarter previous year, however net NPAs has increased to 3.69%.
