Tata Motors reported total commercial vehicle sales of 32,850 units across domestic and international markets in May 2026, registering a 17% year-on-year growth compared to 28,147 units sold in May 2025.
The company's domestic commercial vehicle sales increased by 19% to 30,784 units in May 2026 from 25,872 units in the corresponding month last year. Within the domestic segment, HCV Trucks sales rose 11% to 7,877 units in 2026, while ILMCV Trucks sales grew 8% to 5,331 units in 2026. Passenger Carriers has recorded a growth of 21% with sales of 5,757 units, and SCV Cargo and Pickup sales has increased 30% to 11,819 units in May 2026.
However, the company's international business sales stood at 2,066 units in May 2026 as against 2,275 units in May 2025, registering a decline of 9% year-on-year.
