Symphony spurts on collaborating with Carrefour for selling Symphony Air coolers

Symphony is currently trading at Rs. 380.00, up by 11.75 points or 3.19% from its previous closing of Rs 368.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 370.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 381.80 and Rs. 369.50 respectively. So far 2089 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 414.70 on 12-Mar-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 270.00 on 30-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 395.50 and Rs. 365.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1329.01 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.94 % and 19.06 % respectively.

Symphony has tied up with Carrefour in Indonesia for selling Symphony Air coolers through its local distributor. This tie-up will make Symphony coolers widely available in Indonesia which is one of the most populous countries in the world and an emerging market.

Carrefour, headquartered in France, is the world’s 2nd largest retail group having one of the largest retail chains in Indonesia.

Symphony is a publicly traded company established in 1988 in India with a manufacturing base in North America, offering products in over 60 countries.
