MMTC declines on reporting net loss of Rs 10.40 crore in Q2

MMTC is currently trading at Rs. 50.70, down by 0.75 points or 1.46 % from its previous closing of Rs 51.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 51.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs 51.60 and Rs 50.50 respectively. So far 95642 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 755.00 on 22-Nov-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs 37.15 on 05-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 57.25 and Rs 51.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 5115.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 90.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.36% and 2.64% respectively.

MMTC has reported results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2013.

The company has reported a net loss of Rs 10.40 crore for the quarter as compared to a net loss of Rs 113.73 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has decreased by 15.81% at Rs 7511.84 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 8922.92 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.
