Ashok Leyland has launched India’s first range of trucks with air suspension. The company has launched three breakthrough models -- AVTR 4925 10x2 MAV, AVTR 4625 10x2 MAV and AVTR 4525 8x2 MAV. The VTR 4925 10x2 MAV is India’s first 49 tonne truck with air suspension, offering a payload advantage of 1.5 tonnes, AVTR 4625 10x2 MAV is India’s first 46-tonne truck with a payload advantage of 4 tonnes and the AVTR 4525 8x2 MAV is India’s first 45-tonne truck with a payload advantage of 4 tonnes.
This new range of trucks with the best-in-class payload advantage of up to 4 tonnes feature an air suspension system which provides multiple benefits, including enhanced vehicle stability in laden conditions, and reduced vibrations and shocks. The system delivers superior ride comfort, especially while negotiating repeated road undulations, along with improved tyre life. The rear suspension system requires no greasing, enabling maintenance-free operations. The technology also contributes to longer tyre life, further strengthening the overall economics of ownership. Together, these advantages reinforce the company’s commitment to delivering industry leading solutions that maximize profitability while setting new benchmarks in performance and comfort.
