Nanta Tech signs MoU with Aimtron Technologies

Nanta Tech has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aimtron Technologies, a leading Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) company, for the contract manufacturing of robotic products under the company’s Allbotix brand. Under the proposed collaboration, Nanta Tech and Aimtron Technologies will jointly undertake the design and development of robotic products, leveraging their respective expertise in robotics innovation and electronics manufacturing. Aimtron Technologies will subsequently manufacture, assemble and test these products in accordance with jointly approved engineering specifications, designs and quality standards. This collaboration is expected to strengthen the company’s manufacturing ecosystem, accelerate product development and enable efficient scaling of its growing robotics business.

The parties currently anticipate manufacturing orders with an indicative aggregate value of around Rs 10 crore over a period of 15 months, subject to individual purchase orders and mutually agreed commercial terms. This indicative value represents the expected business potential under the proposed collaboration and actual order volumes will depend upon future purchase orders issued by Nanta Tech.

As part of the arrangement, Nanta Tech will continue to retain ownership of all product designs, engineering drawings, firmware, software, source code, know-how, trademarks, patents and other intellectual property related to the products. Aimtron Technologies will manufacture the products exclusively for Nanta and will operate strictly in accordance with the Company's approved technical specifications and quality requirements.

Nanta Tech is primarily engaged in the business of supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of Audio Visual (AV) products, Service Robots and IT Networking solutions (i.e., wired/wireless system cabling) which serves different verticals like retail, hospitality, enterprise, educational and infrastructure, among others.
