Nanta Tech has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GM Biovalley SDN BHD (GM Biovalley) for the introduction, commercialisation, deployment and development of robotics and automation solutions in Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore.
The Parties recognise that the cooperation contemplated under this MoU should extend beyond the sale of individual robotics products. The longer-term objective is to develop a sustainable robotics and intelligent automation ecosystem capable of supporting the complete value chain.
Through this cooperation, the Parties seek to combine the company’s robotics, engineering and technology capabilities with GM Biovalley's market-development capabilities, commercial networks, strategic relationships and regional execution capabilities. The Parties may consider granting GM Biovalley exclusive or preferential commercial rights for agreed NANTA products within all or part of the Territory.
The Parties intend to explore positioning Malaysia as a strategic hub for the deployment, technical support, training and future localisation of robotics technologies serving Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore, with the potential to expand progressively into the wider ASEAN market.
Nanta Tech is primarily engaged in the business of supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of Audio Visual (AV) products, Service Robots and IT Networking solutions (i.e., wired/wireless system cabling) which serves different verticals like retail, hospitality, enterprise, educational and infrastructure, among others.
