Sunita Tools has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with A Polish Defence Mfg Co, a company engaged in the Research, Design, Development and Manufacture of ISR drones, Loitering ammunition and Smart Flying ammunition.
The parties intend to collaborate for the Research, Design, Development, manufacturing, marketing and sale of ISR drones, Loitering ammunition and smart Drone ammunition. The collaboration envisages the formation of a joint venture in India, with Sunita Tools proposed to hold the majority stake, subject to execution of definitive agreements and obtaining all necessary regulatory approvals.
The company will act as the development, manufacturing, marketing and distribution partner for the agreed products within India, GCC countries and the Indian subcontinent, while also having rights to promote the products in other international markets as mutually agreed. The collaboration aims to combine Polish Defence Co’s technology, technical know-how and product development capabilities with Sunita Tools Limited’s manufacturing expertise, industrial infrastructure and market reach.
The parties also intend to jointly explore opportunities for participation in defence procurement programmes and strategic collaborations with Indian defence industry participants, subject to applicable laws and regulations. The MoU is valid for a period of 5 years, unless terminated earlier in accordance with its terms.
Sunita Tools manufactures mold base and machining parts for Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Electronics, Consumer Goods, and Manufacturing Sectors.
