Maruti Suzuki India reports 34% rise in total sales in July

Maruti Suzuki India has reported a 33.73% rise in total sales (Domestic + Export) to 2,41,421 units in July 2026 as compared to sales of 1,80,526 units in July 2025. Total domestic vehicle sales, including light commercial vehicles (LCV), grew 42.37% to 2,00,123 units in July 2026 as compared to 1,40,570 units in the same month last year.

Within this, sales of mini-segment cars (Alto and S-Presso) increased by 85.19% to 12,634 units in July 2026, compared with 6,822 units in the corresponding month of the previous year. Sales of the company's compact and mid-size cars, including Baleno, Celerio, Ciaz, Dzire, Ignis, Swift and WagonR, grew 37.94% to 90,822 units in July 2026 from 65,840 units in July 2025.

Further, sales of utility vehicles, including the Brezza, Ertiga, e Vitara, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, Victoris and XL6, increased 49.42% to 78,851 units in July 2026 from 52,773 units a year ago. Eeco van sales stood at 13,896 units in July 2026, compared with 12,341 units in July 2025, reflecting a growth of 12.60%. In addition, sales of the LCV Super Carry rose 40.30% to 3,920 units in July 2026 from 2,794 units in the same month last year.

Moreover, the company's exports in July 2026 stood at 30,056 units, compared with 31,745 units in July 2025, registering a decline of 5.32%. However, sales to other OEMs increased 36.91% to 11,242 units in July 2026 as compared to 8,211 units in July 2025.
