Magna Electro Castings has received approval to set up a new machining division at its South Campus, located in Mullipadi Village, Tamaraikulam Post, Kinathukkadavu Taluk, Coimbatore. The company is establishing its first In-House machining division initially with 7 CNC machines, enabling it to deliver fully-machined, ready-to-fit components to customers.
The company proposes to invest around Rs 17 crore in the new machining division. The division is expected to be commissioned by January 2027. The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 13, 2026, has approved the same.
Magna Electro Castings is engaged in the manufacture and selling of ductile, grey and SiMo castings in the weight range of 800 grams to 500 kilograms per piece. The Company also supplies machined castings.
