Panasonic Appliances India is reportedly planning to enter into African market. The company’s exports of rice cookers and other appliances contribute 17% of the sales. Presently, the company exports its products to US, Canada, Middle East and Gulf countries. The company will cater not only to the Indian diaspora in Africa but also target regions where rice consumption is high.
