Ashok Leyland has reported 38% rise in its total sales, including exports, at 21,038 units in August 2026 as compared to 15,239 units in August 2025. During August 2026, the company’s Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales grew 25% year-on-year (Y-o-Y) 7,319 units. Further, its Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (M&HCV) Trucks sales rose 60% to 10,748 units in August 2026 compared to 6,738 units in previous year same month. Besides, M&HCV Bus sales increased 12% to 2,971 units in August 2026 as compared to 2,643 units in August 2025.
The company’s total domestic sales in August 2026 stood at 19,438 units, a growth of 43% YoY. Its domestic LCV sales increased 25% to 7,030 units in August 2026. Moreover, its M&HCV Trucks sales grew 60% to 10,285 units in August 2026, and M&HCV bus sales rose 36% to 2,123 units in August 2026.
