Ugar Sugar Works has informed that following the direction from High Court on September 7, 2026, KSPCB officials had visited the site again. The High court in September 11, 2026 hearing has set aside the KSPCB's closure order and has instructed KSPCB to have fresh inspection during crushing season and may issue fresh directions in case of any non-compliance. Currently, the Ugar Khurd plant continues to remain fully operational. The court order document is awaited.
