Viviana Power Tech has formally inaugurated its Power Transformer Manufacturing Facility at Por, Vadodara, Gujarat. The facility represents an important step in the company’s strategic initiative to expand its presence from power transmission and distribution EPC activities into power equipment manufacturing, thereby strengthening its capabilities across the power infrastructure value chain.
The facility has been established with a focus on manufacturing power transformers up to 20 MVA rating in the 66 kV and 33 kV classes, with an annual production capacity up to 1,000 MVA, and also provide facility to manufacture allied power equipment to cater to the growing requirements of the renewable energy, transmission and other power infrastructure sectors.
The company expects the facility to provide: backward and forward integration of the company’s Power T&D EPC business, Enhancement of in-house manufacturing capabilities for power transformers, Ability to cater to the increasing demand for power equipment arising from power transmission, distribution and renewable energy segment, and Potential improvement in project execution capabilities and supply-chain efficiencies.
