Tata Motors has reported total commercial vehicle sales of 51,062 units across domestic and international markets in September 2026, registering a 42.4% year-on-year growth compared to 35,862 units sold in September 2025.
The company's domestic commercial vehicle sales increased by 31.2% to 43,487 units in September 2026 from 33,148 units in the corresponding month last year. Within the domestic segment, HCV Trucks sales rose 43.6% to 14,171 units in September 2026, while ILMCV Trucks sales grew 31.7% to 7,990 units in September 2026. Passenger Carriers has recorded a growth of 55.3% with sales of 4,816 units, and SCV Cargo and Pickup sales has increased 17.0% to 16,510 units in September 2026.
Further, the company's international business sales stood at 7,575 units in September 2026 as against 2,714 units in September 2025, registering an increase year-on-year (Y-o-Y) of near three-fold. Besides, the domestic sales of MH&ICV in September 2026, was 22,616 units vs 15,669 units in September 2025 (44.3% Y-o-Y). Domestic & International sales for MH&ICV in September 2026, was 23,910 units vs 16,759 units in September 2025 (42.7 % Y-o-Y).
