13 Oct 2026 Evaluate

Azad Engineering has been approved as a long-term source by Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL), a Maharatna Indian Public Sector Undertaking, and has been awarded a two-year long term rate contract for the supply of critical stationary and rotating airfoils (blades) for their heavy duty gas turbines. The estimated value of the contract is around Rs 52.68 crore. The contract is to be executed by October 09, 2028.

This approval marks an important step in the company’s growing role in India's domestic power generation equipment ecosystem and supports BHEL's indigenisation of critical gas turbine components.

Azad Engineering is one of the key manufacturers of its qualified product lines in the aerospace and defence, energy and oil and gas industries, manufacturing highly engineered, complex and mission and life-critical components.
